Football, baseball, basketball or hockey, it doesn't matter. If it is happening in the sports world, I will be talking about it. Not only will I be discussing the sport itself but I will also be talking about any hot topic like: BCS system, injuries and how I feel that affects the team or even what a sports writer has written for the week. I can tell you that I will not talk about TO other than this very sentence. To many people are talking about him already and I don't want to add to the heap.

3 topics for first post:
1. Tiki Barber to retire after 06 football season. There has been much said about the affect this will have on the Giants for the remainder of the season. Some bad and some good. I favor those who say this will have a positive affect on the team. If he is truly a leader on the team, and I think that he is, they should/would want to play harder this year just for him. Stats year to date seem to back that up as well (NFL leader in rushing by more than 50 yards). The Giants this year, with added incentive from Barber will be a front runner for the NFC title. Look to see them play the Bears for a trip to the Super Bowl. On a side note, I think that it is great that Tiki is walking away from football when he wants. I wish that every player would use him as an example and walk away when they are on top. To many players keep trying to play after their prime and end up making themselves look really bad. It also makes the average fan such as myself like them less and less
2. Colts vs. Patriots this Sunday night on NBC. Biggest game of the year with the biggest players in the league. Manning vs. Brady will be great but they won't be on the field at the same time so we must find other keys to the game. I think the match-up to watch will be Patriots offense vs. Colts D. Everyone thinks that if you can run the ball and keep it away from being in Mannings hands you can beat the Colts. Lets ask the Broncos (over 200 yards rushing) if that really works. The Colts D is not good and doesn't look to be getting any better but they still cause key turnovers and that is what will keep them in this game against the Patriots. I want to give the Patriots the advantage because of location but Manning is playing his best football right now. I say this game will end just like the Colts/Broncos game. Whoever has the ball last wins the game and I say the Colts have the ball last and win 31-28.
3. NBA season kicked off on Tuesday. I like the NBA and look forward to having more sports to watch during the week. However, I don't like the new obsession the NBA and David Stern have with LeBron James. I want to say that I understand he is one of the best, if not the best player in the league but give me a break. What is going on with the multiple personality thing? I don't really know and I don't really care but it must stop and it must stop now. If anyone would like to comment on the LeBron thing, please feel free. Right now and I base most of this off of last year, I think Dallas has the best chance to win the title and I don't think that Miami will make it back. They will make the playoffs but won't go far in those playoffs. I also think the team to watch this year will be Chicago. Great young players that run and score a lot of points, now mixed with Mr. D himself Ben Wallace. Could be a Championship year for the Bulls and Bears. What would the city do, I don't know but I am sure they would love to find out.

Good job. I agree with almost everything you've said so far. Especially the fact that we need a playoff system in the NCAA. I do agree that David Stern has a "man-crush" on LeBron, but i think those commericals are pretty funny. I like the fact that you're posting funny pictures, the more the better.
